Leveraging the popularity of the 2017 Disney live-action movie, I was asked by Disney Theatrical Group to develop print and digital marketing assets to promote the Beauty and the Beast stage show for professional licensing. As one of the longest-running shows to ever perform on Broadway, the brief was to market the show as an everlasting modern classic for anyone interested in theater.
For the image, I wanted to create a powerful and elegant graphical style that combines the iconic features from the original Broadway classic and the Disney films. The final product was successfully showcased in American Theatre Magazine's print and digital media.
